It's over in the sense that I think that all love is conditional, even though people try to pass things off as "unconditional." A prime example is the mother "unconditionally" loving her newborn child.
She doesn't love it unconditionally, she loves it conditionally because it brings her happiness, gives her purpose in life, and is generally a positive force. When you love rationally, that's not unconditional, irrational love. That's entirely rational to love something that gives you what you want in life.
